1. The Service
NetChefs provides an online platform to connect hosts and clients with independent culinary professionals (“Chefs”). NetChefs is not a party to agreements between you and a Chef unless we expressly state otherwise. Food preparation, staffing, logistics, insurance, permits, and on-site execution are solely between hosts/clients and Chefs or their businesses.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for safeguarding access to any account credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, probe for vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not use the Service to harass, discriminate, mislead others, or break the law.
- Do not upload malware or content you do not have rights to share.
4. Payments and fees
Payments, refunds, cancellations, deposits, taxes, gratuities, and chargebacks may be processed according to disclosures shown at checkout, in proposals, invoices, or in your account. Fees and payout timing can change; we will post updates where reasonably noticeable.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, logos, and site content provided by NetChefs are owned by NetChefs or its licensors. You retain rights in content you submit, and you grant NetChefs a license to host, display, and use that content as needed to operate the Service.
6. Disclaimer; limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, NetChefs disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses arising from events involving Chefs or third parties.
7. Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend and indemnify NetChefs against claims arising from your use of the Service, your events, food service, personnel, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
8. Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
